The Lord Dorchester Lost 10mm Sockets began their journey in the 2021–2022 season under the leadership of dedicated lead mentors Mark Janes and Paul Dawson.

2022

  • Windsor – Students competed in a fast-paced robotics event, testing their robots’ design, programming, and teamwork skills.
  • Waterloo (First Event) – This marked the team’s first competition, giving students hands-on experience with matches and strategy.
  • Provincials (Mississauga) – Teams showcased their skills in a larger setting, putting their robots and teamwork to the test against other top teams.

2023

  • Windsor – Returning to Windsor, students improved their robots and strategies, competing in exciting matches with a focus on STEM and collaboration.
  • Western – At Western, teams faced new challenges and engaged with other schools, learning new techniques and refining their engineering skills.

2024

  • Berrie – Students tackled challenging robotics tasks, demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Windsor – Another opportunity to compete regionally, improving robot design and match strategy.
  • Provincials (Mississauga) – Teams advanced to provincials, testing their robots against top competitors from across the region.
  • STEMly Cup 1 (Hamilton) – The team participated in the first-ever STEMly Cup, highlighting innovation and technical ability in a competitive environment.

2025

  • STEMly Cup – Students showcased creativity and technical skill in another edition of the STEMly Cup, emphasizing innovation and collaboration.
  • Newmarket – Students competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition, testing their robots in challenging tasks while developing teamwork and STEM skills.
  • Windsor – Returning to Windsor, teams refined their robots and strategies, learning from other teams and mentors.
